Introducing the Framed Florets Bundle by Stampin’ Up!: A Floral Delight for Crafting Enthusiasts

A Floral Delight with Framed Florets Bundle!

As I’ve mentioned in other Creativity Club posts, sometimes I opt to use a set that I have in my stash and do an alternative with the elements of the kit.  This month’s kit is no exception!

The Creativity Club featured the stamps from the Garden Birdhouses Stamp Set, however, I did not own that set so I opted to use Framed Florets. One of my absolute favorite bundles!

When it comes to finding the perfect collection of floral-themed stamp sets and coordinating products, it can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. With so many options available, it can be overwhelming to determine which one will truly bring your creativity to life.

That’s where Stampin Up’s Framed Florets Bundle comes in. This captivating collection is designed to inspire and delight, offering endless possibilities for creating stunning handmade cards.

The Framed Florets Bundle is very versatile. The stamp set features florals that can be stamped and left in black and white (or whatever color you chose to stamp in),  colored in using your Stampin’ Up! Blends, colored pencils, or even water coloring the images in this stamp set. The sentiments also send this bundle skyrocketing into one that I often grab for when I’m creating cards or other paper crafting projects with a floral theme.Framed Florets Bundle

The framed dies in this collection. There are so many ways that these dies can be used together to create endless possibilities.

An outstanding Creativity Club selection! I had so much fun coloring the images from the set, I used a mix of colored pencils and alcohol markers in bright vibrant colors that matched the pattern papers we used for this set of kit cards!

Cards Samples From the Kit

For this kit, I followed the instructions provided, with a creative twist of incorporating the beautiful framed florets bundle mentioned earlier. The kit included the charming Lovely in Linen Designer series paper, a pack of linen thread, and adhesive-backed milky dots. The cardstock colors used were Basic White, Sweet Sorbet, soft Succulent, and Night of Navy.

To bring the cards to life, I used Tuxedo Black Moment Ink, Stampin Up Ink in Night of Navy, and Soft Succulent. For coloring, I utilized Blends, along with Copic markers and colored pencils for the personalized inserts inside the cards.

The Lovely in Linen Designer series paper added a touch of elegance to the cards. I used different patterns and colors to create unique backgrounds for each card. The pack of linen thread was a great addition, as it added a natural and rustic element to the cards.

To assemble the cards, I started by cutting the cardstock to the desired size and folding it in half to create the card base. I then adhered the Lovely in Linen Designer series paper to the front of the card, using liquid adhesive for a stronghold.

Next, I added the framed florets bundle by adhering it to the front of the card using foam adhesive squares. This added dimension and interest to the cards, making them stand out.

For the sentiment, I used the Tuxedo Black Moment Ink to stamp a greeting onto a small strip of Basic White cardstock. I then adhered this strip to the front of the card, overlapping the framed florets bundle.

To add some extra embellishments, I used adhesive-backed milky dots. These added a subtle and classy touch to the cards.

For the inside of the cards, I used personalized inserts. I colored the images using a combination of Blends, Copic markers, and colored pencils. This added a personal and heartfelt touch to the cards, making them even more special. Inside of Card

Overall, I was very happy with how the cards turned out. The combination of the Lovely in Linen Designer series paper, framed florets bundle, and personalized inserts created beautiful and unique cards. The colors and textures added depth and dimension to the cards, making them visually appealing.

In addition to following the kit instructions, I took the opportunity to coordinate and enhance the Dsp by creating a cardholder using cardstock, embellished with leftover DSP.

Please note that the supplies I used in this project are retired, as Stampin’ Up! regularly introduces new products in their catalogs for a limited time. So, both the kit and the specific supplies may no longer be available.
